About E.C.Bell

I have written most of my life (usually as an antidote to whatever day job I had) and have had short fiction published in magazines and several anthologies, including the double Aurora Award winning Women of the Apocalypse and the Aurora winning The Puzzle Box.

Seeing the Light is my first novel, published by Tyche Books. It is the first in a series, and I was delighted to find out that it will be produced in audio form, and reprinted in French! It won the Alberta Book Publishing Award for Speculative Fiction, and was short listed for the Bony Blithe Award for Light Mysteries.

The second book in the series (Drowning in Amber) was shortlisted for the Prix Aurora award for science fiction and fantasy. The third, (Stalking the Dead) was shortlisted for the Alberta Book Publishing award for spec fic. And the fourth, Dying on Second, won the Bony Blithe Award for Light fiction, and was shortlisted for the Alberta Book Publishing award for Spec. Fic.

The fifth in the series (Hearing Voices) will be out in October of 2018.

Nice!

When I'm not writing, I'm living a fine life in my round house (even if it is in a perpetual state of renovation) with my husband and our two dogs.
